the Place to EAT!

I love that the art is food in this restaurant! This is what I got to look at as I ate my oooey, gooey, way too yummy, grilled cheese sandwich at the Electric Cheetah. The art in this restaurant is ever changing and right now it is by Beth Jacobson. It looked so real I wanted to eat it right off the wall. But instead I ate this right off my plate!

It is the most amazing grilled cheese I have yet to consume! Provolone, goat, cheddar cheeses, Roma tomatoes, and caramelized onions on a sourdough bread grilled with asiago-cheese butter and fresh rosemary. This cheesy butter makes for a very yummy crust on the outside of the sandwich.

Whats a grilled cheese with out tomato soup? Not just any tomato soup will do for this grilled cheese, you must order the Saffron Tomato Bisque! OOhh lalala, this is comfort food at its finest.

This is what else, my friend and I, partook of on our luncheon adventure at the Electric Cheetah.

Pineapple Pulled Pork sandwich…with pineapple-jalapeno-sage salsa and apple cider
BBQ sauce. Deelish, and the pork is from local Creswick Farms, love that!

Who gets dessert at lunch time?? I do silly. Especially at this place their desserts are 2DIE4! These cookies were baked fresh to order just for me.

Sometimes I try a new place and I have a hard time deciding, because quite frankly nothing looks that good. Well, the menu at Electric Cheetah looks so fantastic I think I could eat here for two weeks straight. Small Plates, 13 different and unique salads, soups, sweet potato french fries….did I hear AMEN! I think I counted 19 sandwiches, plus several dinner time choices, this is not including the specials.

They do not have a liquor license but have 20 choices of root beer..hey I’m good with that!

My friend Demetria and I give this PLACE a big thumbs up! The service was a little quirky and my cookie was gooier than I would have liked…but over all this place is a definite winner! Looking very forward to their new venture the Electric Eel!

Electric Cheetah is located at 1015 Wealthy St, Grand Rapids MI. Hours are Mon-Sat 11am-9pm, Sunday Brunch 10am -4pm. Check out their website for coupons and specials.

disclaimer: I am not a professional food reviewer(as if that were not obvious), I do not get any kick backs or free food for any of my “write ups”.

Bon’Appetit!

You are so right about the grilled cheese at the Electric Cheetah – it is 2Die4. I've never had a better grilled cheese ever! Yum, yum!

So I have been there 2 Sundays in a row now for their brunch which is a bunch of small plate add ons to their menu. The lemon ricotta pancakes are the bomb diggedy!! And you HAVE to try their raw fries if you like salt and vinegar potato chips – as a matter of fact, even if you don't! We had one at our table who said she doesn't like them and she gobbled these right up!! Mmmmmmm. Love this place too. I am already craving it again and it's only been 2 days. šŸ˜‰
