Creamy Mixed Berry Pops
You need three simple ingredients to make these delicious creamy berry pudding pops! Homemade mixed berry popsicles are a great way to combine the goodness of fresh fruit with a helping of dairy.
Why I love these popsicles so much
Growing up, I loved Jello pudding pops on hot days in the summer. They were my favorite summer treat. Then, poof, they were gone. No more pudding pops in the grocery store! Where there’s a will, there’s a way. I wanted my kiddos to enjoy the same delicious treat I had as a kid, and you know what? It is pretty darn easy to make your own homemade pudding pops. Since we are making this sweet treat ourselves, we can make it to our tastes, so I added mixed berries to these homemade popsicles. I love berries with vanilla cream sauce, which is what this tastes like. What better way to preserve fresh berries than to freeze them? And what better way to freeze them than in the form of a dreamy, creamy popsicle? I’m calling this pudding pop recipe a healthy treat because, hey, it’s (mostly) natural ingredients!

How to make Creamy Mixed Berry Popsicles
Gather these three simple ingredients to make these tasty treats the whole family will love!
- Combine milk and jello pudding mix in a medium-sized bowl and whisk ingredients together, or use your hand mixer or stand mixer to beat ingredients until they become thick and adhere to the back of a spoon.
- Wash and dry fruit.
- Prepare popsicle molds or line up paper cups and have sticks ready.
- Pour the mixture into the molds, filling them halfway. Add fruit and poke it down into the pudding. Add a few more spoonfuls of pudding and a couple more berries or chunks of fruit, topping it off with another spoonful of pudding. Do not fill the molds all the way full; leave space for expansion when the popsicle freezes. Place the stick in the middle of the popsicle. Place in the freezer for 24 hours.
The hardest part is waiting till the next day for a summer treat on a hot day!
Tips & Variations
- Snack & Craft: You don’t need to buy fancy popsicle molds to make popsicles. You can use small paper cups and wooden popsicle sticks. These are a great treat to make with your kids. There are all sorts of lessons to be learned from making popsicles!
- Dairy Free: Use coconut milk instead of whole milk. It will change the flavor, but it’s honestly delicious. I added chunks of mango to my coconut milk creamy frozen treat.
- Fresh Fruits: You can use just about any fruit that you like. Be sure that the chunks are small so they freeze easier, even cutting larger blueberries in half. I have also used fruit that is already frozen.
Creamy Mixed Berry Pops are so simple to make! Make a double batch because they won’t last! What could be better than a Creamy Berry Pop to celebrate the summer’s berry harvest? It doesn’t get much better than that!
See how easy they go down! I hope you make these treats, give them a star rating below in the recipe card. Thanks for being here! Enjoy! XO Sheila
