Roll out pie dough and lay in pie plate, crimp edges. Set aside.
Combine eggs, corn syrup, and sugars. Mix well. Whip until light and fluffy.
Add butter and 4 oz chocolate to a glass bowl, microwave for 20 to 30 seconds or until butter is melted and chocolate is starting to melt. Whisk butter and chocolate together.
Add bourbon, and vanilla continue to beat. Stop mixer and sprinkle flour and salt over filling, resume mixing at medium to high speed for 3 minutes.
Spread chopped pecans and remaining 4 ounces of chocolate into the bottom of the pie crust. Pour prepared filling in to the pie crust.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. If you are afraid of your crust becoming over done tent tin foil over pie halfway through baking time. Let pie cool before serving.
