- 1/2 cup Butter softened
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- 1/4 cup Baking Cocoa
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Cloves
- 2 cups Zucchini shredded
- 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Nuts chopped (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl cream, butter, oil, and sugar.
Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla to the bowl. Mix well.
Combine Flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cloves.
Gradually incorporate dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Stir in zucchini.
Spread cake batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top batter with nuts and chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
