This old school chocolate chip cookie recipe goes way back! Two kinds of chips, peanut butter, and oatmeal make them hearty and perfect for snacking and sharing!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Beat in vanilla.
Combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Scrape sides of bowl and continue to mix until cookie dough comes together. Aprox. 2 minutes.
Add in chips and combine. Drop 1 1/2 inch balls of dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool for 1 minute before moving cookies to a wire cooling rack.
