This old school chocolate chip cookie recipe goes way back! Two kinds of chips, peanut butter, and oatmeal make them hearty and perfect for snacking and sharing!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup smooth Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups semi sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Butterscotch Chips

Instructions
 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Beat in vanilla.
  • Combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Scrape sides of bowl and continue to mix until cookie dough comes together. Aprox. 2 minutes.
  • Add in chips and combine. Drop 1 1/2 inch balls of dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
    Cool for 1 minute before moving cookies to a wire cooling rack.
