Homemade Freezer Waffles

A simple and delicious waffle recipe you can make in batches and store in the freezer for quick breakfasts any day. Cook crisp, golden waffles, flash-freeze them until firm, then stash in freezer bags to reheat in the toaster whenever you want a hot, homemade breakfast without the prep. Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in mixing bowl. In large measuring cup or bowl add milk, eggs, oil, and vanilla whisk until smooth. Add wet ingredients to dry, whisk until batter is smooth, making sure there are no flour lumps. Ladle batter into preheated waffle iron, bake until done, remove to cooling rack, when completely cooled, place on a baking sheet in freezer until frozen solid, then store in Zip-loc freezer bags.
