Easy Festive Cranberry & Pistachio Cheese Ball

This will be your new go to party appetizer. So easy and so pretty surrounded by simple crackers. This cheese ball is all you need to start of any party season out right.

Equipment

  • plastic wrap
  • sharp knife for chopping pistachios

Ingredients
  

  • 10.6 ounces Shallot & Chive Boursin Cheese 2 containers of Boursin, any variety of Boursin can be used in this cheese ball
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, shelled
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

Instructions
 

  • Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on counter top. Remove Boursin cheese from containers. Stack cheese on top of each other on top of plastic wrap. Pull plastic wrap up around cheese and using our hands form a ball. Set this aside or place in refrigerator.
  • Chop pistachios and cranberries into very fine pieces. Place in a bowl. Mix to combine.
  • Remove Boursin cheese ball from plastic wrap and place in bowl with chopped pistachios and cranberry. Press cranberries and nuts into cheese ball.
    Lay a new piece of plastic wrap on counter and pour any nuts and berries onto it that have not stuck to the cheese ball already. Place cheese ball on plastic wrap and roll it around in the chopped nuts and fruit then draw wrap around it again. Press nuts and cranberries into the cheese. Store in refrigerator in plastic wrap until it's time to serve.
  • Place cheese ball on a plate and surround with crackers, and a cheese spreader. Enjoy!
