Add the cranberries to a sauce pan with orange zest, liquid (juice from orange and enough water added to make 3/4 cup liquid) , and brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until cranberries start to pop and burst open.
Add remaining ingredients: nuts, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, stir to combine. Turn heat down to low, continue to cook for another 5-10 minutes until relish has cooked down relish begins to thicken. You can add more water or orange juice if you prefer the consistency to be looser.
Allow to cool and serve. Or if making in advance, allow to cool and store in an airtight container up to a week.
