  1. How do I store my instant Caramel Cappuccino Mix? And how long will it last? Great question! Any airtight container will do. I prefer to store mine in a glass mason jar with a wide mouth so that way it’s easy to scoop out your mix. If stored in a cool place in an airtight container this mix should last several months.
  2. Can I use non dairy creamer instead of instant dry milk? No, I would not recommend this. It for one has added oils and artificial ingredients in it that will change the whole flavor profile.
  3. Could I substitute another spice for the nutmeg? Yes! That is a great idea. I think my first choice after nutmeg would be cinnamon. However there is no reason you can’t get creative with other spices such as cardamom, or allspice.
  4. How can I make this into an iced drink? Follow the directions for making it hot, however because the ice will water it down add an extra tablespoon of mix to your hot water, stir well. Fill a cup, with large ice cubes, and pour the prepared creamy caramel cappuccino over the ice. Iced blended cappuccino: add your cappuccino that is already mixed with an additional tablespoon of mix to blender with a cup of ice cubes and blend until smooth for an ice-blended cappuccino.
  5. How do I make the froth for the top of my drink? In a glass measuring cup heat 1/2 cup milk in microwave until hot but not boiling using a frother or a whisk, whip milk until it becomes frothy and spoon over the top of your !creamy cappuccino
Caramel Cappuccino Mix

It is so cold today.  Winter has officially arrived in the Mitten, when the temperatures dip below zero I want to keep a warm drink in my hands at all times!  Having this delicious creamy caramel flavor drink mix on hand means that I can make a froo-froo drink right in the comfort of my home and not have to venture out! I would bet my next cookie that there is less sugar in this and it is for sure a fraction of the cost of a coffee shop cappuccino!

Cheers to a warm drink! XOX Sheila
