Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Sandwiches

Grilled chicken topped with bacon, cheese, grilled pineapple, slathered with my special sauce (see recipe below) all on a toasted Ciabatta bun; this sandwich gets my family running to the table every time! Hawaiian Grilled Chicken SandwichAs the lazy days of summer slip away and the busy schedule of the school year returns Tyson® Fresh Chicken makes it more than easy for me to gather my family together around the table; with their boneless skinless chicken options, the possibilities are quick, easy and endless!   I’m telling you: grilled chicken sandwiches always send my family running to the table! Tyson Fresh Chicken gives you helpful tools and resources to make meal planning easy for you and your family.         Hawaiian Grilled Chicken SandwichTyson All Natural* Fresh Chicken is the next best thing to fresh off the farm. It’s all natural with no added hormones or steroids** and arrives at your store fresh, delivered within days from leaving the farm!   Hawaiian Grilled Chicken SandwichTyson Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast makes it so easy for me to come home from the store and have dinner on the table in no time!  I can either quick toss the chicken on the grill, or in the oven, or cut it up for an easy stir-fry.  Sometimes I will cut chicken breasts in half when making sandwiches because 1. it stretches the dinner dollar and 2. it allows the chicken to fit on the bun. Grilled chicken sandwiches are one of our favorite ways to get everyone to the table together on busy nights.  I lay out all the topping options buffet style, and everyone makes it to his or her liking!   We give thanks for our blessings; chow down on our sandwiches, and then dash out the door to whatever event, practice, or game is on the schedule that night!     Hawaiian Grilled Chicken SandwichHonestly it’s the special sauce that makes this chicken sandwich stand apart from all the others!!   It’s easy to make, and it goes great on just about  any sandwich or use it as a dipping sauce for these.     Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Sandwich Come to Momma!  Truth be told, I usually have a pool of special sauce on my plate that I dip my sandwich in before each bite.  I’m a saucy gal.  In case you didn’t know!   Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Sandwich On busy nights one of my tricks for getting my family to the table is to give them a buffet of options, it’s never fancy.  Whether is grilled chicken sandwiches, taco night, salad bar, or chicken chili with toppings; I just pull everything out of the refrigerator on to the counter and let them assemble to their tastes.

I made a chicken burger for dinner last night and I wish I’d read this first. It looks much better than the swimming pool of honey mustard sauce I had on mine. 🙂

I get them to the table by making it fun and offering something everyone can join in making it. Like a pizza night, I buy mini pizza dough, lay out all the toppings, sauce, seasonings, and we all make our own. We also include a game night around the table. Very fun!

They like stuff they get to (at least partially) assemble themselves…like tacos.

One tip I use to get everyone to the table is to turn of the tv and cellphones until dinner is finished. I have done this ever since my kids were born so it is just a part of life. We also have family talk time during dinner. It is our favorite time of the day. Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter.

Since I live alone, I don’t need to use any tricks to get myself to the table. I enjoy cooking, but try to make things that I can reheat so I don’t have to cook every day.
